 Excellent toy and worth the money Sep 25, 2011

We bought this for our son last Christmas when he was not quite a year old. He was tall for his age and walking already, so keep that in mind. We chose it from the many because of the rail that helps hold them in at first. He loved rocking horses, but had a hard time keeping his balance sometimes.
When he got hold enough to figure out crawling into and out of it (under it), I took the rail off.
He's used it plenty, and everything is still tight and looks great.

We wishlisted this adorable rocking horse for my son who is turning one in a few weeks. He received it as a Christmas gift. I love the design and the long range use factor. Our friends son, who is three, loved riding on it as well. Our little guy likes to ride with some help. My caution to others is that Wonderworld does a really, really poor job of packing the wood horse. The front of the rocker has damage (dings and marks) from the pieces knocking together in the box. Also we had to return the first horse and get a replacement because one the the connection bolts was striped and the last screw would go in. Both horses had the dings and marks on the front of the rocker. I would give it five stars except for the damage. Overall it is a great rocking horse but Wonderworld needs to improve packing especially for the cost. If we could do it it over again, I would get the Offi rocking horse instead for a little bit more money.

This is beautiful product, very well made, but my son (1 year old) did not show interest.
I would rather have a rocking horse that he can easily ride by himself.
