My daugther loved them but they aren't as good as they appear Nov 14, 2008

The costumes are a lot different from the original ones, but my daughter doesn't care that, she loved them, the Aurora costume is fragil, parts didn't last 2 or 3 uses... still a lot of fun for my little princess.. and of course for me.

Great dresses, but not what are pictured Jun 25, 2010

We purchased this set for our 4 year old before our trip to Disney to avoid having to purchase more expensive "official" Disney dresses. They worked out great! They are durable and machine washable, and our daughter loved them. They held up for entire days tromping through the Magic Kingdom. We also purchased a slip to go with them - the skirt of the yellow dress is a bit see-through.
The accessories are not as great as the dresses - the tiara was definitely too small for our 4 year old. The only one that worked out well was the rose head band.
One important thing to note is that the manufacturer, Little Adventures, has two versions of princess dresses - Traditional and Deluxe. The Deluxe versions of these dresses are pictured here by this vendor, but what you receive are actually the Traditional versions, which you can see here: [...]. I thought I was getting a better deal because the Deluxe versions retail for more, but this is still a great set.

I got this for my 4 year old daughter for her birthday and she loves it!! She is always changing dresses. She love the colors and that they really look like the dresses from the movie. The accessories were okay. The tiara was too small for my daughter to use and hurt her head so we threw that away. However the 2 other headbands were great and she wears them out when I won't let her wear her princess dresses outside. The quality is starting to wear down because of the use she has gotten out of them, but for the price it is really worth it these are beautiful dresses.

My daughter received this dress-up set almost a year ago just before her 3rd birthday. I am amazed at how well they have held up over the past year. She wears these costumes just about every day around the house and occasionally outside to play. They have been washed many times (very quick to line-dry). Although they are not as glitzy as the official Disney store costumes, I have found that they have held up much better. The fact that the pieces are so simple rather than containing lots of parts to rip or fall off has helped them maintain their look. My daughter received an official Disney Tangled dress which she has rarely worn which has lost it's medallion and has many loose seams and tears. My daughter prefers these costumes because they are easy for her to put on and take off as well as the fact that they are so comfortable and not itchy. I think she will fit into these for another year or so--and she is an extremely tall 4 year old. The accessories are cute too. My daughter loves the crown and rose headband. We did throw away the necklace since I don't trust small children with small jewelry items that could end up in their mouths. All in all, I highly recommend these costumes for their durability, simplicity, and comfort--great for the "everyday princess".
