Spot On Aug 03, 2010
By HappyMomOfTwo My 5 year old woke up the very next morning after his B-day party and the first thing he wanted to do was paint! The spill proof cups are excellent for excited children, and the matching brushes/cups/colors really help to keep some organization. The only thing I would add to this set is some sort of palet for mixing. My little guy wanted to mix colors right away and it is difficult to do with the paints seperated, but a dixie paper plate fixed that problem. Overall the quality of the product and the amount of accessories included made it a perfect addition to the easel I had purchased.

Excellent Easel Accessorty Kit Dec 03, 2010
By marcia Bought this as part of a birthday gift with the stand alone easel for our daughter. She has thoroughly enjoyed the easel and the companion set. The paint pots are terrific for preschool art creations and I like the fact that there is a brush for each paint pot/color. The markers and chalk have been thoroughly enjoyed. I wish the set had came with an eraser for both the dry-erase and the chalk but no other complaints. Seems a bit expensive but if I had ordered all the pieces individually would not have saved money.

Melissa & Doug - Not Easy to do Business With Jan 18, 2012
By Mainer According to a wish list my daughter provided, I ordered a Melissa & Doug Easel Set Companion Bundle from Amazon in early November to give to my grandson for Christmas. The item was sold by a 3rd party vendor and shipped by Melissa & Doug. The item appeared to me to be correct when it arrived, but when my daughter saw what my grandson unwrapped, she said the set should have included a smock and a box of dry erase markers. Melissa & Doug had sent the wrong item: the Easel Accessory Set (has no smock or dry erase markers). I contacted the vendor via Amazon to ask if they could send the missing items. The vendor checked with Melissa & Doug. Both companies declined to supply the items because the window for returning items had closed. Note that I was NOT asking to return anything! I then contacted Amazon and they gave me a refund. Thank goodness for Amazon! In the future, I would (1) think twice about ordering products, including Melissa & Doug items, that are not directly fulfilled by Amazon; (2) wait until the last minute to do my Christmas shopping with anyone who has a 30 day or less return policy; and (3) be more careful about checking items out when they arrive.

Too pricey for a bunch of markers and tempera Mar 11, 2011
By G. A. Arce After spending a considerable amount of money on this product I was dissapointed. It is what it is. The quality is not any better than Crayola brand stuff for the the same items. I think it would have been cheaper just to buy these things separately at my local STAPLES for probably 1/2 the price or less. Don't buy!
Good Jul 18, 2011
By Gretchen Great for projects if your kids are into drawing/painting. Only thing is, the paints are not as washable as they say. They leave behind after effect colors anywhere paint touched. I recommend crayola washable paints instead.
