This is not really not a toy it is for display purposes. My eight year old granddaughter wanted it for her birthday. She loves him and now has him on the headboard of her bed. Given to younger children would be a disaster he wouldn't last ten minutes. The seller was great received order quickly.

I did not read the description close enough. I thought I was getting a stuffed animal not a styrofoam ball with feathers on it.

Loved this Owl, it was sturdy and able to withstand being moved from a tree to a bird cage as decoration for a Harry Potter party...feathers need a little more glue but otherwise, great decor!

I guess I was not the only one who made the mistake, looking at other reviews, which I should have done before. I thought it would be soft, it is not. And the face does not look this nice, the eyes are arranged in a different way.

If you want to decorate, it might work, but as a gift, I don't think it's what you are looking for.

This is a toy that is for display for those of us Harry Potter Geeks. It is a good rendition of Hedwig from the 1st movie. We like it because it is a good addition to our collection. I would not recommend if you have small children. It is really not meant to play with.
